I’ve never felt more inspired by an artist…for the moment at least. Of course, there was, Beili Liu a couple of weeks ago. Anyways, this woman, Porodina is an amazing artist. Her photographs feel like a glimpse inside an intense dream. The colors and movement come together so perfectly and leave me itching to create something, anything.
I absolutely love these.

My good friend, Courtney left for Rome yesterday. It has left me feeling so many different emotions. I’m excited for her and I can’t wait to hear all about the trip when she gets back, but I’m sad she is no longer a car trip away. I wish that I too was on my way to Rome, actually I wish I was anywhere but here. My living situation is less than ideal and I just need to get away for a while. I must learn to be a big girl and take the good with the bad. I’m in dire need of a job and I have to continue working on my new series. I’m desperately hoping these two things will keep me distracted until I move, or at least until Courtney returns.
